Biography: 
Kar Seng (Vincent) Teng is a Full Professor and leads the Nanoelectronics Research Group in the College of Engineering at Swansea University, United Kingdom. His research interest is in the study of nanoscale electronic materials and devices. This involves the application of nanotechnology in electronics, which has major impact on healthcare, photonic and energy technologies. His group has the expertise in the fabrication and characterisation of nanoscale electronic materials and devices, as well as controlling their properties through surface engineering for novel applications. His recent research effort has focussed on the development of novel scaling-up techniques for the production of nanotechnology-based sensors to ensure commercial viability. His research has been supported by awards from the NHS-National Institute for Health Research, European Commission Horizon 2020, The Royal Society, Welsh Government, HEFCW, charities and industries etc. Prof Teng is principal inventor of at least ten patents/patent applications. He serves as an Associate Editor for RSC Advances.
