Dr. Poorva Sharma Luzhou Vocational & Technical College, China
Biography: Dr. Poorva Sharma, Associate Professor and Leader of the Key Laboratory of Multi-functional Materials, Department of Electronic Engineering, Luzhou Vocational and Technical College, Luzhou - China. In 2015, she received her PhD, from School of Physics, Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India. From 2016-2018, she was also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Physics, International Quantum and Molecular Structure Center, Shanghai University, Shanghai. Dr. Sharma served as Assistant Professor at Department of Applied Physics, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing – China (May 2019-April 2020). In June 2017, she was honored with the Young Scientist Award by International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) for the contribution in rare-earth orthoferrite single crystal. In 2014, she received a scholarship for Young Scientist for training by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal - India. Dr. Sharma published more than 25 research articles in international journals. She mainly engaged in research work on rare-earth orthoferrites, multiferroic materials and related condensed matter physics area.
