| Biography: Dr. Songbai CHENG is currently an associate professor at the Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering & Technology (IFCEN), Sun Yat-Sen University in China. His research fields are mainly on reactor thermal-hydraulics and safety analyses, especially for Liquid metal cooled fast reactors (LMFR) including Sodium-cooled fast reactor (SFR) and Lead-cooled fast reactor (LFR). Dr. Cheng got his PhD degree in nuclear engineering from Kyushu University in Japan at the year of 2011. After that, he has been working at Kyushu University and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) for several years (until 2015). Up until now, as first/corresponding author, Dr. Cheng has published more than 40 peer-reviewed international journal papers related to fast reactors.
