Title: Entropy Generation and Heat Transfer in Nanofluids
Abstract:
The continuous growth of electronic industry requires better cooling methods and asks for improved heat transfer characteristics. The use of heat transfer fluids is one of the technological applications of nanoparticles that hold enormous promise which containing suspensions of nanoparticles to confront cooling problems in the thermal systems. In the field of thermal engineering and heat transfer nanofluid has always been an engrossing term. The potential of nanofluid has been growing during the last few years. With the development of nanofluid, thermodynamics analysis by mean of heat transfer and fluid flow processes has become an essential part of the system processes. Because of the limitation of the first law efficiency in the heat transfer engineering systems, entropy generation minimization is used to optimize the performance of thermal equipment. Accordingly, to demonstrate the effect of entropy generation, we have conducted several studies to explore those factors reflected to entropy generation and heat transfer, in line with our study, those results can be implied to the minimization of entropy generation.
