Biography: 
Dr. Liang Qiao received his PhD in Materials Science in Beihang University (China) in 2009. He then continued his career as Postdocs at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in USA, and as a Lecturer in School of Materials, University of Manchester (UK). He is currently a Professor in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC, China). Dr. Qiao’s research interests include understanding, creating and designing advanced artificial heterostructures of complex oxide materials with novel functionalities, and applying them towards next-generation information technology and energy applications.
